GoGym  Small Star Studios designed and built the GoGym website for a client who wanted a national directory of gyms and health clubs. We used advanced techniques for the GoGym search tool to allow visitors to search for nearby gyms by postcode and view the results on a Google map. In addition, gym owners get their own control panel for adding and editing their directory listings whenever they like. 
CEL Group  The CEL Group mini-network consists of three separate websites, including the CEL Group homepage and individual sites for the CEL Sheetmetal and China Enterprise UK branches of the business. The admin panel allows the site's administrators to add news articles, edit the contents of their pages, manage users of the site and track detailed usage statistics.
Applied Leasing    The Applied Leasing website has recently undergone a full revamp to make the site more user-friendly, the products more marketable and the administration work quicker and easier through the streamlined admin panel. The site has been highly optimised for search engines and users can now find what they are looking for more easily than ever. 
Hayley Potter  Hayley Potter approached us with a design for her website which she needed converting into HTML and CSS. We laid the site out for her and installed the Small Star Admin Panel, meaning she can edit her site content as often as she likes. We also included a custom module that allows her to sell her art from her website using the PayPal checkout.
Rollinson Smith  The Rollinson Smith Insurance Brokers website is an online brochure for its insurance products. Each product has a full description on its own page of the site. Visitors can use the online enquiry form to quickly get a question to the Rollinson Smith sales team. The streamlined pages are quick to load and the site is fully accessible for visitors with sight problems.
Charlotte Casadéjus  Charlotte Casadéjus' site is an online showcase for her unique textile designs. 'Contemporary textiles from vintage linens' is her slogan and describes the kind of original products that she sells. Charlotte's site is a simple non-dynamic site with an emphasis on a clean design to highlight her stylish products. |
LAN:Champs  The LAN:Champs website is designed to attract visitors to sign up to multiplayer PC gaming events and become part of their community of gamers. It includes a form for customers to reserve their seats at the next LAN:Champs event, a means of purchasing event tickets via PayPal and a full-featured forum based on the excellent phpBB message board software.
Garvey Developments  Garvey Developments' new website makes extensive use of Small Star's proprietary content management system (CMS), allowing their staff to keep pages up to date at their leisure. Visitors can find all sorts of information out about the business from the search-engine friendly pages and they can submit an online enquiry relating to a specific topic.
Develop In Music  Develop In Music's website is used by its owners to attract new customers to their music producing business. Using our content management system (CMS) they can add and remove pages whenever they need to. They can even lock pages to be available only to signed-up members of their website. Develop In Music regularly feature one of their artists on the site and often include a demo music track for their visitors.
Jewel Vision  The Jewel Vision website is based on a powerful, custom-built shopping cart system tailored specifically for selling jewellery. It allows visitors to narrow down their searches to the smallest detail so that they can find the exact item they are looking for. A PayPal-powered checkout provides a high level of security and a comprehensive admin section gives Jewel Vision's staff all the tools they need to manage orders.
Best-Websites  Best Websites is one of the few web directories on the Internet that contains only hand-picked links to external sites. A team of web searchers constantly strives to keep the directory accurate and up-to-date using the database-driven link management system. Visitors can submit their site for inclusion in the directory by filling out an online form. Best Websites is currently being rebranded and repositioned by its owners.
MAP Overseas Direct  MAP Overseas Direct's new website is an online catalogue of its Spanish properties for sale. It is fully database-driven and has a powerful back-end for managing the properties on the site. The site uses a fluid design that adapts to fit the user's screen and features readable, resizable fonts for maximum accessibility. An online enquiry system manages customer enquiries and stores them in the database.
LinkGames  LinkGames is a community site for multiplayer gamers. It integrates a message forum with a content-managed news and reviews system. Visitors can create their own gaming profiles with their favourite multiplayer games, while other members can rate their profile and challenge them to multiplayer matches. The extensive games database is a useful resource for keen gamers and for the press. Small Star Studios is currently working on an updated design for the site. |
